Washington, DC – Dennis Szymanski and Howard Stern have joined the McConnell International team as Executive Consultants. Together they add more than fifty years of experience in the U.S. Federal government market to McConnell International’s 0fferings. Dennis Szymanski is an experienced analyst, line manager, project/program manager, and executive. As a Federal government executive, he served as Chief of Staff to the IRS Chief Information Officer and was the Deputy Chief Information Officer at the U.S. International Trade Commission providing discipline and leadership for main mission and infrastructure projects. Mr. Szymanski offers clients a powerful and timely combination of information technology expertise and agency knowledge in key trade and financial agencies. Clients looking to leverage the Administration’s economic recovery programs will benefit from his background in IT architecture, engineering, program management, contract management, IT policy development and governance and his agency knowledge at the U.S. International Trade Commission, Internal Revenue Service, Federal Railroad Administration and Federal Communications Commission. Howard Stern has developed sales/marketing organizations and grown revenues in both the commercial and government markets with a strong focus on IT services, market intelligence and e-government solutions. By combining extensive private sector sales and marketing expertise with a deep knowledge of Federal government operations, he has an impressive record of contract wins across a range of federal agencies with a particular focus on health care services. Mr. Stern is well positioned to assist clients who are currently providing services to or are interested in expanding into the Department of Health and Human Services, DoD Military Health Systems and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
